ON TOUR
Selected as one of the twenty-nine gardens featured on the 2019 Theodore Payne Native Plant Garden Tour, this West Adams backyard rain garden designed by InSite features a bioswale that captures, cleans, and infiltrates rainwater runoff from the garage roof and surrounding garden. The garden also includes forty different varieties of California native plants that help conserve water, provide valuable urban habitat, and support biodiversity.
ON DISPLAY
Two of InSite's water-wise gardens - Meadow Garden and Pollinators Paradise - are featured in the Our Water Future permanent exhibit at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. The interactive exhibit, which focuses on water conservation strategies in Southern California, is jointly funded by the San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy and the Long Beach Water Department. In the Going Natural section of the exhibit, visitors have the opportunity to view different native and California-friendly residential landscape transformations that conserve water and are drought tolerant.
